Carey Street

Our relationship with Lodha UK, the London based development arm of India’s largest real estate developer, Lodha Developers, began in 2016 when Cain International arranged a £78m bridge loan to refinance the acquisition loan of Lodha’s Carey Street purchase at Lincoln Square.

Since then, Cain International and Lodha deepened their partnership, announcing in May 2017 a £290m senior loan for Lodha’s Lincoln Square development. It is a 205,912 sq. ft. NIA residential development comprising 221 apartments being built by international contractor Multiplex.  This project, adjacent to the London School of Economics (LSE) and Covent Garden, is one of the largest ever loans from a single provider for a UK residential scheme and is expected to be completed in late 2018.
