In December 2018, Cain International provided a $315M loan facility, its first in the U.S., to Aman and OKO Group to assist with predevelopment work for the brand’s first urban location, Aman New York. This led to Cain structuring a $750M construction loan in September 2019, placing a $300M senior tranche with Bank OZK to continue to support the development of the project.
Aman New York’s offering includes 22 exclusive residences, sitting above the 117,000 sq. ft. hotel with 83 guest rooms and suites. The hotel has more than 7,000 sq. ft. of outdoor dining space with its Garden Terrace, as well as a Jazz Club, Spa, three restaurants, and lifestyle management and concierge services by Aman.
The loan was fully repaid in June 2022.
