Cain’s Internship Programme offers an exciting opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in various operational functions essential to the success of any organisation.

The internship will be focused on One Beverly Hills, which will transform 17.5 acres of land in the heart of Los Angeles. The masterplan introduces 10 acres of open space and breathtaking gardens, which will be a sustainable oasis of wellness. It will also seamlessly integrate the existing Beverly Hilton and Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills into a unified site. A luxury Aman Hotel with 78 all-suite guest rooms, Aman-branded residences across two towers, and a standalone 100,000 square foot Aman Club will also be built.

Responsibilities

General:

  • Support Cain team with daily tasks
  • Prepare draft Excel, Word and PPT documents
  • Coordinate updating of graphics and other materials
  • Monitor progress of deliverables
  • Attend team and city meetings
  • Act as scribe for various meetings
  • Deliver materials to the city and other agencies on as needed basis

 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project monitoring
  • Monitor and update compliance with Conditions of Approval. Create matrix to facilitate verification
  • Interact with various Cain team members, City staff and external compliance monitor
  • Document preparation
  • Assist in updating various presentation decks
  • Secure updated images and graphics, proof reading text, etc
  • Assist in preparation of entitlements modification checklist, research precedents, coordinate with design team in preparing supporting materials
  • Support Cain team in assembling graphics and other materials for use with Architectural Commission
  • Financial & project budgeting
  • Monitor cost estimating updates, value engineering and reconcile budget vs estimates
  • Prepare list of public improvements for CFD reimbursement


Qualifications

Educational Background:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

 

Relevant Skills or Experience:

  • Strong IT skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Adaptable
  • Good time management and proven ability to multi-task
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Professional with a ‘can do’ and willing attitude


Duration & Hours

  • 3 months
  • 9am – 6pm with 1-hour for lunch


Compensation

  • Rate: $25 per hour
