Our relationship with Lodha UK, the London-based development arm of one of India’s largest real estate developers, Lodha Developers, began in 2016 when we arranged a £78m bridge loan to refinance the acquisition loan of the company’s purchase of a project in London’s Carey Street, known as Lincoln Square.

Since then, the partnership has deepened, with a £290m senior loan for the project announced in May 2017. The 208,000 sq ft NIA residential development comprising 221 apartments is being built by international contractor Multiplex and is adjacent to the London School of Economics (LSE) and Covent Garden. The financing we provided is one of the largest ever loans from a single provider for a UK residential project.
