St James House is a 28-storey purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme in central Bristol, being delivered by Cain in partnership with Olympian Homes. Upon completion it will be the tallest building in the city and provide 574 beds across two towers, with one focused on student accommodation and the other offering larger co-living units.
The development includes c.15,000 sq ft of high-quality amenity space, ranging from study areas and group dining rooms to a cinema, fitness suite, and games room. The scheme is targeting BREEAM Excellent and WiredScore Platinum ratings, with completion planned for the 2028/29 academic year.
Located close to both the University of Bristol’s main campus and the Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus, and with direct transport links to the University of the West of England and Bristol Temple Meads station, we believe the site is well positioned to capture demand from the city’s growing student population.
