In February 2016, Cain partnered with OKO Group to develop 830 Brickell, a 55-storey mixed-use tower in Miami’s Brickell neighbourhood comprising over 650,000 sq. ft. of Class A office space, as well as ground floor prime retail space.
Designed by renowned architecture firm Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill, with interiors by Italian architecture and design company Iosa Ghini Associati, 830 Brickell brings a premium commercial offering to the heart of Miami’s financial centre — as the area’s first Class A+ freestanding office building to be built in over a decade.
The 724-foot building is projecting to be LEED Gold certified and is also Wired Certified. Additional energy efficient design aspects include:
- Full height insulated glazing
- Low-E tinted glazing
- Hurricane-impact glazing system
830 Brickell’s parking facility will complement the multitude of transportation options including the Metromover, Metrorail and intercity rail service Brightline. The garage design features an aluminium kinetic wall with metallic squares in constant motion powered by Biscayne Bay breezes. Above the garage, the tower will be clad with 1,030,000 sq. ft. of uninterrupted glass.
