Munich, Germany, 26 July 2022 – FREO Group (‘FREO’), a pan-European investment manager and project developer, and Cain International (‘Cain’), the privately held investment firm, have leased 1,200 sq m at Koryféum, an 80,400 sq m office development in Munich, to clever fit GmbH (‘clever fit’), a leading fitness chain.
Taking occupancy in 2023, clever fit will open a state-of-the-art fitness studio in the development, offering an experience enhanced by smart technologies alongside more traditional training options.
This latest letting brings the first phase of the development to nearly 25% leased. Earlier this year the partnership also signed an agreement for 4,200 sq m with Bechtle AG, the largest business-to-business IT service provider by revenue in Germany, on an 11-year lease. Bechtle AG will also take occupancy in 2023.
Comprising a total of six buildings, Koryféum will comprise ultra-modern and innovative space in a campus-style environment. Delivered in three phases, the campus will offer forward-looking architecture, DGNB Gold-certified sustainability standards and a WiredScore Gold rating.
In its first phase, Koryféum will feature around 24,400 sq m of office and hybrid space, as well as an underground car park with numerous bicycle and car parking spaces with e-charging facilities.
In addition, a central building with a restaurant, café, retail units, and event space will be developed. The central building will also offer lounge areas, meeting rooms and flexible workspaces with Wi-Fi hotspots. These will be available to all tenants and enable collaborative working outside of their dedicated office space. Sports facilities such as paddle tennis, basketball, and a football court will enable tenants to enjoy a healthy work-life balance.
