Ada Chan

Senior Vice President

Ada is a senior vice president on Cain’s real estate equity team and supports capital markets and fundraising efforts across the firm’s US equity platforms, including the delivery of One Beverly Hills, a 17.5-acre mixed-use urban development located at the Western gateway of Beverly Hills.

Before joining Cain, Ada worked for Bank of America’s Commercial Real Estate Banking group (‘BofA’) as a senior vice president, where she transacted and closed more than $3 billion in gross loan commitments. Prior to BofA, Ada held roles in OneWest Bank, iStar, and Weintraub Real Estate Group. She started her career in engineering, working for Hathaway Dinwiddie and Swinerton Builders.

Ada is a registered professional civil engineer in California and an active member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) at the Americas and District Council levels, currently leading as the NEXT Americas Governance Chair, Urban Development Mixed Use Council (Silver) Membership Co-Chair, ULI-Los Angeles advisory board member, and ULI-Los Angeles Capital Markets Initiative Council Chair Emeritus. Ada is also an executive committee member of the City of Hope Los Angeles Real Estate Council.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering building science, a Master’s in civil-structural engineering, and an MBA, all from the University of Southern California (USC).

Ada also serves as a senior advisor for Biproxi, a commercial real estate transactions platform that connects credit and equity capital with developers and operators.
