Kate joined Cain International in 2019 and is responsible for underwriting and executing equity investments as well as asset repositioning across Cain’s US real estate and private equity portfolios.
Before joining Cain International, Kate worked for Edge Principal Advisers as a senior associate, where she was responsible for asset management and acquisition underwriting across all asset classes with a focus on senior housing, industrial and office/lab. Prior to Edge Principal Advisers, Kate worked for The JBG Companies as a senior development analyst, where she assisted in all aspects of the development process for mixed-use projects in the Washington, DC metro area. Prior to JBG, she worked for Real Estate Capital Partners as an asset management analyst, where she was responsible for third party asset management for institutional investors with portfolios that included office, retail and student housing.
Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics and urban planning from the University of Virginia (UVA) and a Master of Business Administration from UVA’s Darden School of Business.
